The Snow Abu Dhabi is set to become the world’s largest snowy destination of its kind when it opens at the Reem Mall in 2020. The Park is one of the entertainment and leisure projects being developed by the Al Farwaniya Property Developers, Thinkwell and Majid Al Futtaim Ventures at the $1.2 venture, Reem Mall in the year 2020. What is Snow Abu Dhabi?
The Snow Park Abu Dhabi will be the largest snow park in the world after its completion in 2020. Another place in the UAE that will go down in the history of the world as an achievement for the land that loves shattering records! The park will cover an area of 125,000 sq ft and will feature a total of 13 rides and attractions. The park will seem as if you are in a fairy-tale world and the wide variety of activities will be spread across different zones. Wow!
Before you enter the park, the Blizzards Bazar is going to be the first place that you will see. This unique retail outlet will offer you a variety of things like postcards, cold weather clothes, hats and souvenirs that reflect the park’s, Enchanted Forest. Buy gifts for your loved ones from the land of snow in the middle of the desert! Splendid, right?
After you enter the park, you will find yourself in the incredible Snowflake Garden. The place is an open snow play area where you can play in the snow. Simple activities like snowman building, ice labyrinths and many other games based in the snow will be organized there. All play and no work definitely sounds great to us!
Beyond this area, lies the iconic sparkling Crystal Carousel. This stunning, gleaming formation will include embellished custom design that will commemorate the animals of this snowy jungle. We all love animals, don't we?
With a climb up the Flurries’ Mountain, the trip to Snow Abu Dhabi will come to an end. The climb leads the way to the picturesque centerpiece of Snow Abu Dhabi- The Enchanted Tree. How cold will it be?
It will be really cold, we can can tell you that! At a temperature of -2 degree Celsius, you will definitely feel the chills. The depth of the snow will be 500 mm. The construction of Snow Abu Dhabi is proceeding according to the the timetable that has been set. The installation of the first trusses took place in the month of June this year. We are shivering!
Where is it located?
Before you think about visiting...you need to know where is it located, right? The Snow Abu Dhabi is located at the Reem Mall Abu Dhabi. The construction of the Reem Mall began in 2017 and it is expected to be completed in late 2020. It is located at the Reem Island in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The place will have two million square feet leasable space that will include 450 stores and about 85 F & B outlets and a range of entertainment for families. The Mall will also have 4 departmental stores, a hypermarket, a multiplex cinema, two food courts, and many more places. The division of the Reem Mall will be into three areas: Mangrove Atrium, Urban Facade, and Dynamic Facade. Every area derives inspiration from the capital's mangrove forests, which also have crystal formations and salt flats. Can we go now?

The Abu Dhabi International Airport is about 30-45 mins away from Reem Island.
The closest stations to Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi: Sultan Bin Zayed St / Zayed 1st St; Sultan Bin Zayed St / Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre; Zayed 1st St / St 10; Sultan Bin Zayed St / Gold Center; Hamdan St / Liwa Center.

You can drive from Dubai to Reem Island. It will take you almost 1 hour 15 mins to reach.
