About Dubai Opera House

The Dubai Opera House is designed in a way that optimizes sound. The place transforms itself from a concert hall to a banquet hall to a theater. This also helps to enhance the acoustics and for a surround sound experience in the arena.

For concerts, a series of towers and reflectors on stage and overhead create an acoustic shell around the orchestra, which enables an immaculate acoustic environment for impeccable sound quality. The building’s unique architecture allows to also host a variety of events such as weddings, trade shows, art galleries and exhibitions, receptions and parties, using its “flat floor” mode. In flat floor mode, the hydraulic lifts transfer 900 seats to a storage area beneath the theater.

The Dubai Opera is famous for its comprehensive line-up of noteworthy performances. From music concerts to fashion shows, the Opera features dazzling performances that equate to London's West End and USA's Broadway! Known for being luxurious, depending on the type of performances, the Dubai Opera hosts live shows for every budget. The Dubai Opera is also home to a sky garden and a rooftop restaurant that provides breathtaking views of Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa.
